The company has been running for 60+ years as a leading manufacturer in carton products and are now seeking a Business Development Manager with account management experience, who is looking to further their career and help with the continuous growth of the company. Sales Account Manager Leeds Salary GBP45,000 - GBP60,000 DOE In return our client is offering an excellent career path with a great salary reflecting experience including: 10% bonus, Car (Hybrid), 26 days holiday plus bank, life insurance 2x salary, medical insurance, credit card, laptop, phone and 4% pension. This role is a hybrid working role which is a split between new business and account management. You will be nurturing customer accounts but also winning new business within food and non-food businesses in the UK. The role is now available due to growth within the business and they are now actively looking to recruit a Business Development Manager or account manager who is driven and is looking for progression. Your day-to-day duties will be based around business development creating new opportunities for the company to increase their clientele. Your role includes dealing with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation and commercial follow up of UK & Irish customers and branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organisation. You will play an active part in the development of the sales budget, monitor revenue and margins, promote the image of the company and you will continue with the improvement of the initiatives of the company. What they are looking for: 2-4 years+ in a Business Development type role in the Carton or packaging industry Someone who is able to win new business worth 3-5 million and also manage 10 million pounds worth of accounts in food and non-food industries. Have a great understanding of the UK market You must be happy developing new business opportunities and building on your successes. Experience in the Packaging industry is essential.
