Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Location: Bristol BS3
40+ Hours per week
The company is part of an experienced group of eCommerce websites providing order fulfilment services for a growing number of clients. The Warehouse Manager role will be critical to providing infrastructure and process to the warehouse operations.
This position is on a full time permanent basis working with a small team of warehouse assistants. We require a manager to lead the warehouse and own all associated operational processes. Directly manage and execute the operations plan successfully and efficiently in order to achieve the receiving of goods, the picking of orders, the replenishment of stock and the preparation and delivery of all orders, whilst ensuring that health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times resulting in delivering right first time to the customer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Achieve and Sustain a High Level of Accuracy in all areas. Efficiently plan daily workload and manage against key business KPI's. Focus on continuous improvement and compliance. Achieve and sustain a high standard of housekeeping. Instil a customer service ethic throughout the warehouse and ensure that queries are dealt with efficiently. Ensure that there is an active interface between Warehouse Operations and relevant departments. Lead the warehouse team to establish and deliver the vision and development plan for the warehouse operation. Develop a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of Warehouse operations. Ensure that stock accuracy is maintained through process adherence & accuracy, and effective stock control. Ensure that all personnel matters relating to absence & attendance, L&D, welfare, and performance are handled effectively.
Skills & Experience required;
- A strong communicator with the confidence to ensure daily communication with the relevant departments.
- Previous experience leading, supervising or managing a team in a warehouse environment.
- A team player with a collaborative approach to finding solution.
- Demonstrates ability to implement and sustain change.
- Process and procedure focused, strong on compliance with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be IT literate with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Hold a valid UK Driving License.
- FLT License desirable but not essential.
