Assistant Warehouse Manager

We are an air conditioning company based in North London looking for a Assistant Manager for our warehouse. Working 5 days a week from about 8 to 4pm (Monday to Friday - no weekends) you will be responsible for picking, packing and general warehouse duties including preparing portable air conditioning units for hire. You will also assist with constructing ramps and moving pieces of artwork for the other companies in our group, for which full training will be provided. At other times you may be required to carry out deliveries to customers or engineers working on site or collect equipment.
This is a varied role so some flexibility is required as well as the ability to schedule your workload in co-operation with the Warehouse Manager. You should be confident working independently and good at taking initiative/spotting when things need doing.
This job involves a lot of manual lifting and therefore we require someone physically fit and strong.
You must:
- Speak fluent English with good reading and writing skills
- Have a full clean driving licence and experience driving large vans
- Live near Northwest London
Salary: From £22,500.00 per year
