Residential Management Group, part of Places for People, have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to manage a mixed residential portfolio, consisting of RMCs (Resident Management Companies), L&T (Landlord & Tenant), Developers and Estates and small & large blocks.
You'll be homebased and live within an hour of Bristol, to be able to make regular site visits to your property portfolio in Bristol.
You'll be part of a team of 10 Property Managers, so there'll be lots of support and guidance as you learn the ropes. You will initially be managing a small residential portfolio consisting of residential blocks and new estates and as your experience grows, your portfolio will also grow.
Our first-rate Property Managers are supported with superb systems, robust and efficient processes, a fantastic 24/7 customer service team, extensive back office and finance support, and a strong senior management team - to enable you to deliver a property management service that is second to none.
You will ensure services are carried out in accordance with lease agreements, working within the lease agreements at all times. You will also monitor the collection of service charges to fund necessary works, so an understanding of budgets is really useful.
To be a successful Property Manager, you will have
previous Property Manager experience ; ideally block property experience, but applications are welcome from those with Letting's experience AIRPM qualification (preferred, or a willingness to study) the ability to understand leases, service charge budgeting and associated legislation excellent organisational skills ; with the ability to handle multiple admin/processes knowledge of Health & Safety confidence, be outgoing and always customer centric strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain solid working relationships a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicleWe really like to support our employees to develop in their career, therefore we sponsor IRPM qualifications if not yet attained.
