Business Development Executive, London, to GBP30K + excellent OTE potential
This is a superb opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Development Executive to join a market-leading B2B communications agency.
For over 50 years the company has set the standard in specialist corporate communications for its FMCG clients, developing and executing compelling and engaging content and events for some of the world's largest, and most recognizable manufacturers.
Due to continued expansion of its core services throughout the UK and Europe, the business is looking to appoint an enthusiastic business development executive with experience of selling, ideally with a keen interest in VR, technology solutions, conferences, movies and events.
With 1 - 2 years in a similar business development role already, you'll be used to managing your own diary, and making your own work. You'll use your first rate communication skills to help the business do what it does best, communicate and open conversations with potential new audiences.
You'll be responsible for identifying prospects and building relationships with key potential stakeholders, and helping the sales team to drive and win new business.
You may have some background and interest in marketing and have used social media to increase awareness. This is a great development opportunity for the right individual with much to learn about the various tech solutions that the business offers, but the wider team and sales director will be on hand to support you, and help you gain a strong understanding of the potential possibilities for your clients - although with your keen interest in tech and VR you already know that, well, virtually anything is possible.
Business Development Executive Responsibilities
Identify & evaluate new business opportunities with potential clients
Lead generation in all forms
Develop & build relationships with existing & potential customers
Provide leadership with regular BD activity updates
Collaborate with wider sales team to maximise sales opportunities
Review and execute social media marketing activities
Ensure GDPR compliance in regards to marketing preferences
Maintain awareness of competitors & trends to identify opportunities
About You
You'll have been working in a similar role for at least 1 - 2 yrs
Experience producing / feeding into business presentations
Keen interest in, and possible selling experience of tech and VR solutions
Strong understanding of the B2B buying cycle
Data & insight led, experienced interrogating analytics & retrieving data
Experience using CRM / marketing cloud products
