The opportunity: MBDA is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to lead our business growth initiatives within the Combat Air sector. Moreover, it is a unique opportunity to make a valued contribution to the strategic direction and delivery of world-leading Combat Air capabilities to our front-line forces. Working as part of a dynamic, multi-national team the Senior Business Development Executive - Combat Air role is responsible for generating Combat Air opportunities for MBDA's air launched portfolio, primarily covering, but not limited to, Eurofighter Typhoon and F-35 Platforms. In order to achieve the aim of delivering decisive capability to the front line cheaper, faster, better, you will work with stakeholders from across the company, wider industry and customer communities to align weapon development and platform integration roadmaps, securing integration contracts and directing company investment where necessary. What we're looking for from you: Experience working within the board combat air enterprise, possessing an understanding of: UK MOD organisation and processes, including front line command, MOD Main Building and DE&S F-35 framework including US DOD and Joint Project Office (JPO) organisations, NETMA and Eurofighter organisations Wider industry environment (preferably BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin)An operational and/or engineering background is not necessary, however a solid understanding of air platform integration and modern capability challenges is desirable.
