VW T4 camper in conversion, 2.5 litre TDI, 2002, low mileage

VW T4 2.5 litre TDI, 2002.
- 103,044 miles.
- MOT until November 2023.
- Starts easily (has had a new battery).
- Had new cam belt at 78,000 miles.
- Alloy wheels.
- Smev two gas ring hob and sink with cupboard storage.
- Comfortable L shaped seating which folds out into a very large memory foam bed.
- Tinted windows throughout the rear with curtains to the windows and a curtain dividing the cab from the rear.
Works well for us, but could be improved if new owner preferred:
- Seat foam is currently covered with blankets, although very easy to run up cushion covers as all pieces are simple rectangular shapes.
- Leisure battery is currently charged indoors rather than through a split charger, but again easy to install.
- The previous owner had started to install an electric hook up (they ran the cable from the outside of the van, behind the panelling, bringing the wires through into the rear cab in two places). No work has been done to continue this, but these could be connected to sockets etc if desired.
- As often with the T4, has some rust, mainly on the wheel arches - see photos.
