2000 VW T4 Camper

Reluctantly selling due to an engine fault which is too big for me to fix outside my house (or so it seems).
Bought 2 years ago with all sorts of problems, in the hope to give it a new lease of life, starting with the engine. Previous owners replaced the engine with a 1996 Golf ABL engine. I've spent thousands on it to get it running but it has been one problem after another. I took it for it's MOT a few weeks back which it passed with 1 advisory (oil leak on engine which it's had since I've owned it) and on the way back from the MOT station it lost all power and now sounds like it's running on 3 cylinders and smoking like mad. I got the injectors reconned (£400 and receipt for that) and at the same time swapped the turbo (as the bearings inside the old one seemed loose). This helped very little but there was improvement. I think it must be a cylinder issue and I unfortunately cannot strip this engine at the front of my house, so I'd rather bite the bullet and upsize while I'm at it, and hopefully send this on to somebody who can give it the attention it deserves.
This is fully DVLA registered as a camper, before the new legislations came in.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO RUST WHATSOEVER underneath this van. It has to be seen to be believed, but Italy do not grit their roads, hence an immaculate undercarriage. The bodywork is average.
2x 105ah batteries hooked up to a 2500w inverter. All charged via alternator when driven.
Fixed king-size bed in the rear. The table turns into part of the bed which you will see in the pictures.
Fridge.
Gas hob at the rear.
Lots of storage compartments under the bed.
130000km on the clock (80000miles)
New timing belt in September 2020, and driven around 6000 miles since the change.
New tensioner pulleys
New middle exhaust
V5 and all DVLA documents present with some receipts for work and parts.
2 sets of keys.
Has been maintained at no expense spared. This is the perfect beginners project for someone with the knowledge of engine replacements and bodywork.
