We are now looking for a Voluntary Sector Development Manager to join our fantastic team on a full-time basis for a fixed term contact until December 2023, with the possibility of extension. The Role As a Voluntary Sector Development Manager, you will deliver a contract with Haringey Council to ensure the local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) is strong and meeting the needs of the local community. Ensuring organisations within the sector are able to attract funding and are well positioned to support communities, you will seek to build their capacity and help them deliver their objectives. You will support fundraising activities and implement sustainable funding strategies that will ensure they can continue to deliver services to the community. Additionally, you will: - Work with colleagues to deliver a programme of work and activities - Develop peer support programmes for VCS organisations - Promote information sharing and networking among VCS organisations in Haringey - Support robust monitoring and evaluation of the service About You To be considered as a Voluntary Sector Development Manager, you will need: - The ability to design and deliver capacity building support and training for VCS organisations - The ability to manage relationships and motivate others - Knowledge of the development and financial needs of the VCS - Knowledge of diverse methods of fundraising and income generation - To be conversant with a wide range of communications tools to engage all stakeholders Please note, this role will require the successful candidate to undergo enhanced CRB / DBS Disclosure.
