NeuroSupport services is looking for psychology graduates or candidates with a background of Brain Injury and Mental health experience to support services users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and in enabling people to optimise independence and quality of life. We are looking for a Therapy assistant who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping service users access the community. Experienced in brain injury support is highy advantageous. Hours available: Monday 9am- 5pm Tuesday 9am-5pm Every other Friday 9am-5pm diagnose with CP. The client is fully dependent on others to meet his care needs and he is non- verbal. We are looking for someone to provide rehab assistance - who is based in a residential care home in Bradford. The role would involve assisting the client with his rehab programme on a 1-1 basis, working under the guidance of the treating team. The neuro rehab team currently consists of a Neuropsychologist, OT, SALT, Physio, AT and music therapist. The candidate must be able to drive the client s WAV and be confident in accessing the community with him. There maybe some personal care involded on occasion. Hourly Rate: GBP10.50-12per hour depending on experience.
