I'm reluctantly selling my self converted LDV Maxus camper (\"Vanny\"). I've had her 6 years and we've had some incredible adventures and now after living in her full time for a few months while renovating our new house, it's time to say goodbye as we will be too busy with new projects to get proper use out her.
I'm her third owner - I bought her from a dealer who purchased her from Donaldson's School in Linlithgow so she's been well looked after. Overall bodywork is good for a van her age, and mechanically she is running well.
2007 LDV Maxus, MOT Nov 2023. Registered with DVLA as campervan. 87459 miles.
Just had an oil and filter change, and 2 new tyres. Turbo charger replaced last year.
Fully off grid camper - 300w solar panel on tilting roof frame. 2 x 140amp hour deep cycle batteries, solar charge controller and solar monitor, split charge relay to charge batteries while driving, 300w inverter and 240v double plug socket. 6 USB charging points and cigarette lighter port.
LPG 11kg bottle and filler kit (can be filled directly at Petrol station) - runs the cooker (2 hob, grill and oven) and Propex heater with thermostat, very cheap to fill and lasts for months!
LED ceiling lights, strip lights under kitchen shelves, reading light above bed.
Well insulated with celotex, expanding foam and double foil insulation over the top.
Skylight and bike rack for 2 bikes.
Sink with 12v pump and electric tap. 25l fresh water and 20l waste bottles.
10 inch memory foam matress on high bed with lots of storage underneath. We sleep across width of van, my husband is 5ft9 and is comfortable but may not suit someone taller.
Eyelets bolted in each of the 4 corners for stringing up a hammock in the van or even out the back of the van to a tree.
2 seats that double as extra storage.
No toilet, but there is a pee funnel which is piped out underneath the van.

Things to be aware of-
  Some light rust bubbling above drivers front wheel arch.
   Crack in one of the panels on passenger side. I've temporarily sealed it but not got round to repairing it.
   The central locking doesn't operate the sliding door, it's been like that since I've had her and i haven't managed to fix it so I lock it manually.
   As I converted the van myself and I'm not a professional I'd prefer to disconnect the gas before passing her on to a new owner. I'm happy to be responsible for my own safety but would prefer the new owner was responsible for theirs. Happy to go over it with whoever buys her though and can show the system working before disconnecting.
