Legal Counsel - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Your new companyThis growing company, with brand new offices in Liverpool city centre, has a great reputation for providing excellent customer service and providing a positive working environment for its employees. A legal counsel vacancy has arisen to provide maternity cover for 12-14 month fixed period.Your new roleYou will join a small legal team providing a range of legal advice and support for both operational and corporate services departments. Your duties will include drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts including data processing agreements, confidentiality agreements, IP, procurement contracts, outsourcing arrangements and supplier agreements. You will work closely with the Head of Legal and will be expected to deputise and support on various legal projects. The role will be office based and flexible start/finish times can be accommodated.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a UK qualified solicitor who is available to start from 1st May in the Liverpool office. You must have commercial contracts experience gained either in practice or in house and be willing to adapt and learn new areas of law to work effectively in a broad legal counsel role.What you'll get in returnYou will be offered a salary of cGBP50k plus benefits on a fixed term contract basis.
