Our client is a family owned business that offers national product support service for B2B and B2C electro mechanical equipment.
They are seeking a highly organized and efficient Stock Controller / Parts Department Administrator to join the team at their Liverpool site.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the parts department, ensuring that orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date records, responding to customer and engineer queries, and managing stock levels.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Primary Roles
Inputting data to the system, checking warranty details and providing prompt notification to engineers and customers of part order progress
Running parts stock checks for engineers and the main warehouse and chasing parts returns from engineers
Keeping COSHH records up to date
Updating the system by loading new suppliers and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Updating the call handling system with the current order status and completing warranty claims
Dealing with Queries
Dealing with customer queries efficiently
Handling engineer, manager, and director queries and promptly escalating all problems to management
Chasing outstanding orders with suppliers
General
Full compliance with ISI 2001: 2015 quality instructions and health & safety regulations
Maintaining a clean, well-managed, and organized parts storage area
Targets & Objectives:
Ensure prompt response to parts requests.
Maintain a pleasant manner with customers and colleagues.
Ensure accurate data entry on the system.
Provide immediate notification of issues regarding supply delays to engineers and customers.
Maintain adequate stock levels in parts store and with field engineers.
Ensure accurate data loading and updating of information, including warranty details.
Maintain a clean, well-managed, and organized parts storage area.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in a similar role
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of ISI 2001: 2015 quality instructions and health & safety regulations
