We are currently recruiting for a Pastry Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade. The Pastry Chef de Partie will assist in the preparation and service across the pastry section, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.

Our client is an award winning bar and restaurant within a boutique hotel in Jersey. They offer artistic gastronomy in an elegant, art deco-inspired space.

Hourly pay based on 45-50 hours per week, equivalent of around £28,000 - £31,000 per yearTipsExcellent training, development and progression opportunities under a fantastic Michelin star Head ChefAccommodation available at a reduced rateThe Person
The ideal Pastry Chef de Partie will have the following:
Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen as a pastry chef, ideally at a Michelin star or multi - AA Rosette levelConfidence to run the pastry section and help with other duties, mentoring the junior chefs in their tasks.A true passion for pastry and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn.Possess a willingness to work to the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment.High standards of cleanliness, stock control, and work prioritisation.Have a thorough understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen.As the restaurant is located in Jersey, you must have a pre-exisiting right to live and work in the UK and be willing to relocate to the island.All candidates must be able to demonstrate that they hold a relevant and valid permit or visa to live and work in the UK.
