This is a fantastic opportunity based at our Northampton depot for an Inventory Analyst working alongside a team of a dedicated colleagues.
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the integrity of our stock through the planning and coordinating of the optimal storage plans for Whistl fulfilment and each of our clients.
The purpose of this role will be to ensure the safe and secure storage of client products from put-away through to the picking of orders.
You'll also be experienced in driving efficiency in operational cost, KPI measurement with accurate day-to-day planning, guiding the operation through effective communication to achieve best practice, and performing regular analysis to create plans and best possible performance.
You'll be familiar and comfortable with process management and a target-driven environment which is data-led, coupled with close customer behaviour and focus, adapting your approach to problem-solving and contributing to change projects, ensuring effective cost management is embedded and embraced with all key stakeholders.
There is a requirement to be client-facing to keep our customer representatives informed and strong communication skills are essential to identify robust workable solutions and plans.
You will be expected to comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment policies and other relevant regulations ensuring accurate recording and reporting of any incidents, accidents, or near misses.
This role also involves ensuring all processes and procedures within remit are planned and delivered to our operatives to work safely in accordance with best practice and Safe Systems of Work.
This Inventory Analyst role would suit candidates with skills or experience in operational strategy, costing, logistics, MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
