Finance Manager - West Midlands

Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a part-time role in South Birmingham? If so, Athwal Resourcing is currently recruiting exclusively for a well-established manufacturing business that has created a new part-time Finance Manager position to support their growing business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day finances of the business and will assist the Managing Director in ad hoc forward-looking projects. The role requires a 'can do' attitude, with the ability to work closely with the directors and operations to ensure financial best practice is adopted across the business.
As Finance Manager your key responsibilities:
Preparation of management accounts and supporting analysis;Processing purchase invoices, matching to PO's and supplier delivery notes;Assisting with invoicing and payment queries;Overseeing sales invoice processing and credit notes;Reconciling paypal, credit card and Applepay transactions;Reconciling bank accounts and allocating cash receipts;Providing information for payroll processing;Producing and submitting VAT returns;Scanning, filing, and document management;Being the point of contact for administration queries;Ensuring employee records are up to date;Supporting ad hoc tasks as required. Requirements:
AAT qualification, preferably CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified;Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience in small to medium-sized businesses;Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ideally experience in ERP systems;Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Self-motivated and proactive approach to work;An understanding of grant funding, stock and project valuation would be desirable but not essential. As Finance Manager you will be offered:
A competitive salary of GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 per annum (Prorated according to hours worked)Pension in line with government rules32 - 38 hours per week20 days pro rata holiday plus bank holidaysFlexible working hoursFree parking.
