Assistant Property Manager / Block Manager West Midlands cGBP35k We re working with a medium sized, well-established family run Property Management company which specialises in the management of mixed use schemes, large apartment blocks, amenity land and private sheltered housing across the West Midlands. As a result of both portfolio growth and redistribution, they now seek 2 x competent Assistant / Property Managers (Block) as follows: Working mostly office based to start, likely 4 days in and 1 day out visiting sites (this may change once settled/post-probation) Undertaking the full range of property management duties, from budget setting to major works management alongside insurance provision, contractor oversight and resident/client correspondence Attending AGMs (usually no more than 1-2 per week and always local) IRPM or RICS qualifications preferred but supported in post for those who wish to attain them Good written and spoken communication skills essential, underpinned by a professional, thorough attitude and desire to do things right Clients include Freeholders, resident associations, resident management companies, right to manage companies, landlords, property companies and investors, banks / lending institutions. Suitable Assistant Block Managers / Property Managers will have 2 years block management experience, come from a stable career background and wish to progress to full property manager status in a supportive, structured environment. Due to the local nature of the portfolio managed, Assistant / Property Manager applicants will ideally live in or close to Solihull and have their own vehicle. Salary for the successful Assistant / Property Manager will start at up to GBP35k with reviews and uplifts based on tenure and performance.
