We are looking for a Shipping Co-Ordinator to join our family-owned organisation with over 40 years of business within oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

The role of Shipping Co-Ordinator is to Facilitate the preparation of shipping documentation and to despatch goods. Making sure the shipment of goods is done in a timely manner, monitoring the value of goods held in the distribution centre and to help reduce transportation costs.
The successful Shipping Co-Ordinator will be responsible for:
Raising shipping paperwork mercial invoices prior to shipment.Liaise with the distribution to ensure smooth shipment of orders, for the UK and overseas.Coordination and consolidation of all shipments via courier/freight forwarder.Production of material certification, test certification and documentation, in accordance with order requirements.Negotiate prices and arrange collection and delivery of goods as and when required.Review and forward all letters of credit, and notify sales and accounts if any discrepancies.Posting Invoices. Preferred Skills:
Attention to detailCompetent in English and MathsAble to work on own initiativeProblem solving skillsOrganisedStrong team player. Qualifications and Experience:
Computer Literate with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe pdf.Shipping experience preferred but not essential.
