Senior Demand Planner
Our global pharmaceutical client based in Milton Keynes is recruiting a Senior Demand Planner to join their busy team. The role is a temporary contract initially signed off for 1 year with a possible extension offering an hourly rate of GBP15.38 - GBP25.90 depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday pro rata and other benefits. Our client currently offers a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be required to work onsite 2-3 days per week.
The Senior Demand Planner will report into the Associate Director Of Supply Chain Management, and in the role is accountable for the Sales & Operational Planning for the all the divisions of the commercial UK business the role plans for.
Duties, Responsibilities, Activities:
Managing planning parameters and planning item master data in SAPMonitor monthly performance of sales and forecasts to identify and communicate trends that indicate gapsLead communications to business units and cross functional management on issues related to product sales forecastsChair the monthly forecasting meeting as part of the SOP processChair and lead the monthly SOP meetingIntegrate external / industry standard best practise into the internal processes to be shared with the wider teamSupport the delivery of both Global and UK Region Supply Chain Strategy through management of broader initiatives and projectsCreate- maintain and develop effective and collaborative working relationships with all internal and external stakeholdersWork with Sales and Marketing on global demand forecast accuracy KPI target of 80% per monthWorking with the Senior Supply planner and UK commercial finance team on IQV each month working with sales and marketing to limit write off and achieve IQV target each monthCover for the Associate Director of Supply Chain Management where necessaryManage NPD within commercial team and Introduction of new forecastCoordinate with global supply chain to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptionsWorking with Sales and marketing to ensure we have two year rolling forecast always in place in SAP. Experience:
Experience in Demand planning in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environmentMinimum 5 years' experience in a Senior Demand planning roleDemonstrated highly developed numeracy skills through qualification or experienceIdeally Degree educated Behavioural Competencies:
