JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager - Europe, European Sales Manager, Sales Director, Strategic Account Manager, EMEA Sales Manager - food processing, production technology The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing relationships, driving sales with key customer's and be dedicated to driving market growth through prospecting, relationships, evaluation and market development for the food home delivery & food processing industry throughout Europe. You will define the growth strategy, plan, investment, and justification to penetrate the market. You will be working closely with global peers, marketing, engineering, and other functions to support and deliver results. As our Sales Manager, you will become the business champion and subject matter expert for the food processing industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Manager - Europe, European Sales Manager, Sales Director, Strategic Account Manager, EMEA Sales Manager - food processing, production technology Research, analyse and identify dry ice/cooling applications, the market and sales potential for the food home delivery & food processing industry. Establish strategic relationships with key buyers, product development, quality, and senior management personnel. Handle negotiations and create professional presentations for the acquisition of national industrial contracts. Work with internal technical and product development teams to assure alignment of sales strategy and product offerings within technical and operational capabilities. Collaborating with the European regional sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling. Ensure the maintenance of pipeline reporting systems to provide information on sales forecasting, production planning, marketing communication effectiveness and sales productivity. Attend industry conferences and trade shows. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager - Europe, European Sales Manager, Sales Director, Strategic Account Manager, EMEA Sales Manager - food processing, production technology Ideally, you will be qualified to degree level in a relevant field (business, engineering, food science), with a proven track record of solution selling and a large system capital equipment sales. Knowledge and experience of selling machinery to the food processing industry or experience in the industrial gas sector with food experience would be of particular interest. Fluency, both written and verbal, in English and preferably another European language in addition to your mother tongue You must have good attention to detail and be a strategic and analytical thinker. A natural forward planner who critically assesses your own performance. You will be comfortable in dealing with all levels and be a strong relationship builder with good interpersonal skills.
