We have an amazing opportunity to join the Reward and People Team as Reward Officer on a permanent basis. You'll be based from our Head Office Sovereign House Basingstoke, combining both home and office working to ensure a positive work/life balance. There might be occasional travel to other offices and events which will require some flexibility.
The Role
Working within the wider Corporate Strategy and People function, the Reward Officer will support the Reward team in the coordination and administration of total reward activity which supports the delivery of the Corporate Plan and People Strategy.
The role will provide an accurate and professional first line Reward support service across the business by providing advice and guidance to managers and employees and maintaining Reward systems and processes within timescales required ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day administration of the employee recognition schemesProvide support, advice and guidance to line managers and employees on a range of total reward related issues and queriesAccountable for administering the flexible benefits system and associated employee benefit membershipCoordinate, maintain, create, and improve reward and recognition communication materials and lead on promotional eventSupport the team to model and administer the annual pay review, pay progression, bonus, grading and allowances processesCoordinate and maintain all job descriptionsSupport the delivery of reward projects, owning tasks and providing administrative support to the Reward team as required What we need from you
Ideally you will have some previous experience in a similar role working within a Reward/HR team environment this is not essential but would be advantageous, we would also consider experienced higher-level administrators.
You'll also need:
Strong administration experience working within a busy departmentRelevant experience working with data and Excel spreadsheetsHigh level of attention to detailStrong organisational and planning skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsPassionate about delivering a high-quality service and will go that extra mileTo work well on your own and within a teamYou'll also be someone with enthusiasm and drive to deliver on challenging deadlines and targets What you'll receive from us
