Principal Designer

A highly reputable, award winning interdisciplinary practice have approched me for a Principal Designer to join the team in their Manchester office. My client is a market leading global firm with a track record in all sectors such as retail, residential, heritage, housing, education and many more. The Principal Designer will have drive and a good knowledge of the CDM2015 regulations and the construction / design process. The Principal Designer Duties Act as Principal Designer on projects Preperation of Pre-Construction Information (PCI's) and Construction Phase Plans (CPP's) Provide H&S advice Carry out site H&S inspections Apply H&S and CDM knowledge to ensure CDM compliance is metThe Principal Designer: Experience in the CDM / Principal Designer role Member of IOSH / APS Good communication Strong understanding of CDMIn return: GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 Generous pension Profit Share 23 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday & company shut down (around 4 days over Christmas / New Years) Work laptop Career development support Health screening Life insurance Private medical insuranceIf you are Principal Designer considering your career opportunities, or looking for the next step, please call Munnie Thaman at Brandon James Health and Safety.
