Purpose of the Role:
As the Order Management System Oversight Manager, you will join the outsourced operations team and oversee one of RLAM's new tier 1 supplier relationships. The primary focus of the role is to ensure effective monitoring, control and provision of outsourced relationships from Black Rock Solutions (BRS) Aladdin OMS / Order Management System. You will be the dedicated relationship manager tasked with ensuring BRS Aladdin are reporting service levels in line with RLAM's requirements for delivery and quality and lead regular service reviews involving the appropriate internal stakeholders from RLAM.
This is a high-profile opportunity to manage a service relationship which will become a key infrastructure plank to RLAM's growth strategy. Whilst you will sit within operations and report into the Head of Outsource Operations, you will have with regular interaction with the Front Office and executive level stakeholders.
You will be responsible for:
Overseeing the service that BRS Aladdin provides ensuring BRS deliver the service in line with agreed SLAs and undertaking amendments and feeding this into an annual review process.Providing oversight of contractual, legal and commercial elements.Acting as the escalation point for any issues with the vendor or the OMS.Managing and monitoring access rights for the system as per Royal London system access guide.Acting as the first contact point for service issues internally.Undertaking and leading regular reviews on the development of RLAM's outsourcing partners, scope and proposition.Ensuring all changes to systems and services are fully scoped out and authorised in line with Making Business Decisions.Reviewing of risk reporting.Managing multiple stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, regularly reporting up to executive level. The skills, attributes and capabilities we are seeking from you include:
Previous experience within an asset management company or similar industry. (essential)Strong experience of BRS Aladdin operating model processes (ideal)Excellent vendor relationship or supplier management experience, preferably gained from an asset management environment overseeing BRS or similar OMS suppliers such as Bloomberg AIM, Murex, Charles River IMS (CRIMS) or thinkFolio.Strong experience interacting with multiple departments and reporting progress to key stakeholders at executive level.Understanding of investment instruments including Equities, Fixed Interest, Money Market, Derivatives, Property and Cash.
