Left Handed Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus.
For sale is my 1998 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Ebony with gold hardware.
This is a factory \"Plus\" model with factory fitted Grover tuners and gold hardware. Great condition and plays and sounds perfectly. No buckle rash or neck breaks and the nitro is in a really clean condition. If I were nit picking the only blemish is a 2mm mark on the rear of the headstock that has been professionally touched up. You can only see this on a really close inspection. The gold finish is just starting to tarnish as is usual with a guitar of this age and with the binding mellowing to a lovely cream colour gives the guitar a great vintage vibe.
Very rare to see Lefty Standards in ebony come up and especially in this condition. This is as close as you get to a \" Custom \" without the hefty price bracket.
great looking and playing guitar and reluctant sale but moving on a couple to help with my daughters wedding. I emailed Gibson and they confirm provenance and state the guitar was made in Nashville in 1998 with the stated factory spec. They say the neck is a 59 rounded profile. I'm no expert but i would put it slightly less rounded than an R9.
Factory fitted Gibson case in great condition with all hinges / locks working perfectly and the red plastic strip still in position.
