Finance and Payroll Administrator
Our client, a well-established, superb family run organisation with an excellent trading history is urgently seeking a Finance and Payroll Administrator to join their busy and friendly finance team on a permanent basis.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensuring purchase invoices are processed accurately onto the purchase ledger. An average of invoices per month.Matching invoices to purchase orders, liaising with other departments over queries.Performing reconciliations on purchase ledger.Cover for the credit controller when on annual leave.Responsible for taking customer deposits over the telephone.Responding to supplier inquires via email and telephone.Assist with processing weekly and monthly payroll and company pension scheme.Responsible for maintaining and updating ClockRite (Clocking in and Clocking out system).Responsible for liaising with HR department for all new starters and leavers.Assist with any ad-hoc projects, reports and tasks when required by the Finance Controller.Preparing finance reports, including payment suppliers. Skills Required:
Strong attention to detail.Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.Ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines.Strong analytical skills including Excel.Studying towards a professional accounting qualification - AAT/ACCA/CIMA is preferred but not essential.Familiar with Sage 50 Cloud payroll and accounts package is preferred but not essential.1 to 2 years working in a Finance role is preferred but not essential.
