Legal Secretary
A leading company based in Belfast are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team.
This is a Full–Time, Permanent Position
Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm (35 hours per week)
Salary: dependent on experience
Essential Criteria:
• PC Literate with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Case Management• Experience of diary management• Ability and knowledge of MS Outlook to create and maintain contacts, working knowledge of diary maintenance, including joint diaries with other solicitors. Extensive knowledge of email especially working with attachments• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels• Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while adhering to tight deadlines• Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Audio and copy typing all correspondence to include letters, legal forms and quotes• Answer the telephone in a polite and efficient manner• Undertake administrative duties such as photocopying, and updating client details• Filing correspondence and ensuring files are kept up to date• Arranging appointments and dealing with clients• Access and input data on to the firm's client case management system• Work as part of a team with other secretarial colleagues, assisting with secretarial and telephone cover when required• Handle all confidential information discreetly
