Conveyancing Paralegal / Legal Secretary (Residential or Commercial) Accrington Salary: 21,000 - 25,000 per annum A fantastic opportunity to join a reputable law firm based in Accrington providing a full supportive service for clients and Fee Earners within the Conveyancing Department. Hands-on experience within a Paralegal or Legal Secretarial background is essential. Commercial / Residential / HDR Property knowledge is essential for this position. As this is a property role, it is a busy department, and you will be very hands on. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential as is strong IT and attention to detail. The role will include: Management of own case files Raising of enquiries Client liaison Preparing and drafting legal documents and letters, such as mortgages, sale agreements and trust agreements Handling telephone enquiries, making appointments and taking messages Producing letters and legal documents, including court forms and statements Open and closing files Copying, scanning and faxing, including preparation of large court bundles filing and other general administration work Use Proclaim case management software Skills required of a Paralegal or Experienced Legal Secretary; Strong typing skills Conveyancing experience is essential - Commercial or Residential Competent in the use of Microsoft Office A good standard of education and strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines The ability to work on one s own initiative The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team.
