Do you have a passion to work in the community enabling others to unlock their potential?
Compass Support has an opportunity for aYouth TeamLeader to lead our Youth Services team.
You will lead on the delivery of our universal and targeted youth provision in North Birmingham, providing opportunities for young people to thrive and have an influence in their community.
You will be responsible for the line management of a team of youth workers and you will manage the delivery of contracts to ensure that young people are able to access high quality, outcome focused services.
With good communication skills you will engage with key partners and ensure that KPI's, project targets and outcomes are achieved.
The successful Youth Team Leader will –
Be an effective leader, leading the team to provide high quality youth services
Be experienced in coordinating the delivery of
Evening activity sessions in a range of venues
Detached outreach work
School holiday provision
Organising/leading trips and events
Have a relevant qualification for example in youth and community work, health and social care or education
Be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with schools and other key stakeholders
Work with partner organisations to ensure high quality delivery which aligns with local and national priorities
Ability to manage project budgets
Sound knowledge of safeguarding
