Here I am looking for a good home for my very rare & beautiful hand built Cannondale R900 Caad 8 Road Racing Bike.
Cannondale are one of the most iconic bike builders & have been ridden to great victories by many top riders In grand tours over the years & are still used by professional teams today. This wonderful example from the SAECO team era which is super lightweight tipping the scales at a mere 7.8 KG is equipped with a superb Campagnolo gear set giving fast & precise shifting for effortless performance & is an absolute joy to ride.
This is in pristine condition & is mechanically perfect having just had a bare frame (gold) service (worth £150 alone) by myself

(an expert bike mechanic) using top quality Mobil XHP marine grease.
Equipment wise it comes with brilliant Campagnolo Veloce integrated shifters which work beautifully, high power Cannondale Omega dual pivot brakes with Campagnolo Veloce front & Centaur rear mech (the shifting is superb) FSA carbon fibre seat post, Fizik saddle, FSA RO250 bars, Ritchey 4 AXIS stem & new bottom bracket which all adds up to a great package which represents superb value for money.
The bike has lightweight 6061 profiled aluminium tubing, Cannondale Slice Premium full Carbon Fibre aero forks & superb quality aerodynamic deep rim American Classic CR 420 double wall rims which have sealed cartridge bearings fitted with top quality Continental Gaitorskin anti puncture tyres.
It has an 11/23 cassette & 53-39-175 Truvativ ROULEUR GXP Giga X Pipe chain set which is aimed at strong riders who can get the very best out of it & will deliver great climbing ability mixed with amazing speed on the flats.
The bike benefits from having a fully degreased drivetrain & chain which has been hot wax/PTFE dipped which unlike oil stops all the gunk build up, chainring tattoos & prevents premature drivetrain wear due to chain oil mixing with grit & turning into a grinding paste.
The frame size is 23”/60cm which has racing style compact geometry. The bike rides beautifully & wants for nothing, you won’t be disappointed & will not find a better example at any price rest assured.
Every bike which goes through my workshop is subject to a vigorous 10 mile road test to ensure perfect performance & reliability so you can buy with complete confidence.
I can supply & fit a set of reflectors & a bell for this bike at no extra cost if required (just ask before collecting).
