Job Purpose To support the Financial Controllerinthe day to day activitiesof the Finance department carrying out the responsibilities listed below, including thesupervision of direct reports. Your Responsibilities Supervise a team of three direct reports covering the sales and purchase ledgers, assisting where necessary with the purchase ledger email box and processing invoices Responsible for FX hedging and daily reconciliation Assist withmonthly Intercompany transactions are balancing and agreed internally for period close Daily bank reconciliation Assist with credit limit setting and approval Liaise with the Netsuite Oracle (finance package) support team to implement changes which improve processes, additionally to deal with issues that arise interrupting daily processes Assist with production of weekly P&L Assist with prepayments of farm contracts Ensure purchase orders are monitored and executed correctly using reports provided by the system Deal promptly and professionally withsales and purchase ledgerenquiries Liaise with all finance team colleagues and create required reports Any other reasonable duties relevant to job title Your Profile Minimum of two years experience of working in a similar role Educated to A-level standard or be able to demonstrate the ability to work at this level. To have achieved at least diploma level accountancy qualification Must have demonstratable people management experience Excellent communication skills being able to converse effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong IT skills both for use on Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and bespoke systems.
