Senior Ecologist Eastleigh GBP28k-GBP45k Full Time or Part Time (Pro Rata) Are you looking for the next step in your Ecology career? Principal People are thrilled to be recruiting for a Senior Ecologist to join a highly reputable consultancy local to Eastleigh. The successful Senior Ecologist will take responsibility for project management and carrying out a range of field surveys. You will be managing client relationships providing high quality advice, playing a key role in the growth of the business. The client is seeking an individual with strong ecological experience, with an attention to detail and has excellent verbal and written communication. This position will predominantly cover sites across the south of England. On a full time basis you will be contracted to a 40 hour working week (Part time is also available) with additional overtime work available if desired. You will also have the opportunity of working from home. Key responsibilities: Carry out a range of field surveys including protected species surveys and UK Habitat Classification, along with report writing, budget management and managing surveyor teams. Manage client relationships, providing high quality advice, meeting deadlines and project-managing. The successful Senior Ecologist will hold: Experience as an Ecologist Hold a protective species license Full CIEEM membership or working towards (desirable) Experience in managing small-scale ecological projects Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient IT skills Remuneration and benefits: A basic salary of GBP28k-GBP45k based on experience Mileage paid 45p per mile 25 days annual leave plus public holidays Training and development allowance With the client looking to commence interviews next week, please apply immediately or contact me on (url removed) quoting reference 27531WT
