We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our wonderful HR and Payroll team at Trafford College Group. The successful candidate will join a busy and thriving Human Resources & Payroll Department that looks after over 850 staff, covering the whole employee life cycle. The team has a very collaborative approach to work, and lives and breathes the groups values: ambitious, respectful, professional, collaborative, inclusive The Job: We are particularly interested in candidates with previous experience of operating at Business Partner level or for an Advisor/Officer who is looking to take their next steps in their career and has a background in Recruitment. The role will be varied covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle, however, the main focus will be working on Recruitment, Selection, Onboarding and workforce planning including projects to support the implementation of the People, Organisational Development and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategies. You will also have a sound understanding of employment law and experience of supporting managers with employee relations. About you: To be successful, you will need to be proactive and thrive on finding solutions for colleagues, with the ability to quickly build relationships with customers. You will already have relevant experience of working within a HR function and ideally possess CIPD Level 7 or have Level 5 and working towards Level 7. You should have a high level of IT competence and understand payroll procedures, however full training will be provided. We expect you to demonstrate a good understanding of employment legislation and to have supported managers with employee relations matters, along with a working knowledge of recruitment practices and processes. It would be beneficial if you could demonstrate an understanding of safeguarding in relation to safer recruitment practices, however full training will be given. About TCG: A Great Place to Work.
