Head Groundsperson
We are currently recruiting for a Head Groundsperson to join the existing team, who will be responsible for the course and surrounding areas.
The Head Groundsperson will be responsible for preparing the course to include watering, mowing, fertilizing, spraying, 'treading in', aeration, rolling and seeding as required.

Our client is a business and leisure resort with a racecourse, hotel, spa and golf course on site.

The ideal Head Groundsperson will have:
The ability to work early mornings and evenings, working 40 hours a week over 5 days.Year round outdoor labouring experience An NVQ qualification to L2 or above in Turf Maintenance, ideally with expereince in sports turf maintenance. A clean and full driving license. Spraying and chainsaw qualifications would be an advantage.Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure.The flexibility to carry out overtime as and when required, as well as undertake other tasks as requested by the Estates Manager from time to time.Their own reliable transport to a small village on the outskirts of East Grinstead.All candidates must be able to demonstrate that they hold a relevant and valid permit or visa to live and work in the UK.
