Green Waste Picker
Description : 06 Mar, 2023
We are looking for a green waste picker with immediate start. Our site takes in the green waste that the council collects in the brown bins and turns it into compost. The green waste is spread into a thin layer using a machine and we need people to pull out anything that isn’t supposed to be there – usually a little bit of plastic eg flower pots or rubbish etc – before we shred it to compost.
Hours are flexible and the job can be full or part time. If full time work will include other jobs on site.
Training and hivis provided, you will need your own thick soled work boots. Please note work is outdoors so you will need to dress suitably for the weather.
Work will be at our Ayr site KA8 9RT
Pay up to £12 per hour on a self-employed basis.
