Contracts Manager – Roads/Highways

Job Purpose The purpose of the Contracts manager is the financial and operational monitoring and control of contracts, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental, Social and Quality compliance is maintained and that the Group procedures and client objectives are achieved.
Key Roles, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Produce monthly reports to the Operations Manager on projects performance, efficient team building and resources
• Plan projects while ensuring they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for site teams to deliver projects without delays, while driving best value
• Ensure site team compliance with group policies and procedures
Person specification – Qualifications, Technical skills and Experience
• Qualifications and Training o Essential
? Relevant industry qualification: NVQ/HNC/HND/BEng or equivalent experience
? Construction Manager's CSCS card Level 7
? CSCS 5–day safety qualification – SMSTS
? CSCS card
• Technical Skills and Experience
o Proven ability and experience delivering multiple concurrent Civil Engineering projects, with an ability to manage projects from tender to completion.
o Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills; able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality
