- Inside IR35Job SpecificationThe Advance Materials COE Capture Team require a Business Architect to support the capture of the opportunity, through to mobilisation, post contract award.
The Business Architect will be responsible for:The enterprise business solution
- understanding the customer problem, strategy to resolve and ensuring the solution meets the customer needs/ requirements and budgetConsider all aspects of the solution including technical (With support from Technical specialists), business, commercial, project (With PM support) and securityBalancing the trade-off between additional features that are differentiators and affordability to the customerWork with the Project Manager, Technical leads and capture team to ensure the solution is deliverableThe Business Architect needs to:Build the solution with consideration of internal and external factorsAnalyse the technology industry, competitors and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the solutionIdentify the organisational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impactFactor in risk into the solution designOwn the solution overviewOwn the compliancy matrix, report and resolve any areas of non-compliancyCreate the high-level designLiaise within the company and suppliers to ensure the solution is deliverableBe able to present the solution externallyWork with cost modellers and estimators to build the financials associated with the solutionMust have skills:Business architectureSolution architectureWritten and verbal communication skills, able to present data and findings to stakeholders in an impactful wayDesirable skills:Enterprise architectureAdvanced materials domain expertise is not mandated but would be a bonusAn understanding of Agile practices and the impact on solution design and deliveryIf this role is of interest, please submit your CV for review
