1986 Jaguar XJ-S HE, 28,000 miles only
This is an excellent, completely original, low mileage example which has been in the same family since 1988.
The car has covered just 28,000 miles with a large A4 binder containing a significant amount of history including every MOT from new. Recent expenditure to include Eibach uprated springs - original springs supplied - new brake calipers and braided brake hoses. The car is currently fitted with 16 inch lattice style alloy wheels however the original 15 inch HE wheels are included in the sale.
The car was bought by the current owner's uncle in 1988 and had just one owner prior to this, ownership passing to the current owner in 2014. The car is completely original throughout which is very rare at this age, the car still has the original windscreen stickers and paper labels attached to engine components, in fact we believe the car still has it's original exhaust ! Currently fitted with Jaguar spoked alloy wheels, however the original wheels are included with the sale and are in good condition.
Finished in black with oatmeal hide and matching carpets, the entire car presenting exceptionally well and driving correctly with everything appearing to work just as it should. The car was undersealed from new and is free from the underside corrosion which can affect these cars if they are not cared for.
Specification of the period to include climate control air conditioning, original stereo, electric windows, electric mirrors, central locking, electric aerial, 16 inch lattice style alloy wheels with the original 15 inch HE wheels supplied.
Supplied with all original keys, original book pack containing owners manuals etc.
The car will be supplied with a new MOT with no advisory notices.
For sale by agency on behalf of the owner who feels it is a shame to keep the car any longer as it is rarely used.
