Warwick Streamer Stage II (4string) bass guitar, 2002. 20 years old but in immaculate, as new condition.
Comes with either a hiscox hard case; or a warwick gig case (the gig case is a high quality padded soft case, with shoulder straps). Buyer can decide which case you prefer.
Never thought I’d sell this beauty… I’ve had it from new and it breaks my heart to sell. But the cost of living reality bites, and I’m not in a band, so it’s not bringing in any money here.
Description…
The Warwick Streamer Stage II is a really versatile instrument. The active pick ups and pre-amp give huge tonal range; and the adjustable height nut and the 2 piece '3D' bridge mean the set up can be dialled in to individual playing styles. Even to the extent that string spacing at the bridge can be tweaked to suit.
In terms of electronics, it has the MEC 3-way active pick-up system with two Jazz pick-ups. The controls have three band EQ - with Bass, Middle and Treble boost and cut; and a stacked volume pot, with pickup blend on the bottom; and volume on the top. The pick ups can run in passive mode via push/pull switch on the volume pot.
The Afzelia body with a hidden neck through design not only looks beautiful, it also adds to the tonal quality of the instrument. The woods have a resonance that you can feel throughout the instrument when you play. The Wenge fingerboard feels great, and has great stability with the 3 ply Ovangkol neck.
The contoured body fortable to sit or stand with, and looks amazing. The strap buttons are offset to ensure that the bass has perfect balance, with zero neck dive or lift. The stage II model is finished with some luxury aesthetics: the YingYang fret marker inlays, gold hardware, and Warwick's natural oil finish.
It's an outstanding professional quality instrument and a master class in craftsmanship.
