Warehouse Supervisor - Derbyshire

Our client based in Glossop has been established since 1984 and is now the largest in their sector, they are a diverse, dynamic and fast paced business with real ambition. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Supervisor to join an award-winning and market leading supplier of products to the retail sector B2B. Working 37.5 hours on a rotating 8-hour shift pattern (week 1: 06:00- 14:30. Week 2: 14:00- 23:00 Mon-Thurs and 14 30 Fri) Main Responsibilities: Leading of warehouse colleagues including a mix of FT, interim and agency Support and leadership of your respective teams/direct reports to drive engagement and create a great place to work Coaching and developing colleagues at different levels Conduct quarterly 121 s, performance management and updating of KPI s and skills matrix Adherence to HRM procedures including managing overtime, sickness and absence, shift management, timekeeping policy adherence Ensure deliveries are received in time and in full Ensure Orders are dispatched on time and in full Maintain storage by organising floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements Maintaining inventory by conducting monthly physical counts Ensuring warehouse is always secure inc Alarm system, gates, and shutters Ensure H&S adhered to create a safe and clean environment Keep all equipment operating by enforcing best practice/operating instructions and troubleshoot breakdowns, preventative maintenance, calling repairs etc Job Skills: Inspiring natural Leadership skills Great Communication and listening skills High standards of expectation of performance, People, and housekeeping Adaptable and flexible to the needs of the business Computer literate-excel, outlook, word, and other Microsoft systems Knowledge of H&S principles Full driving licence Multi-tasking Skills Company Benefits: Ability to buy/sell holidays Above statutory minimum Pension Scheme Free Medicash Healthcare (Covers a wide range of medical expenses for self and children, and the option to include partners) Enhanced maternity/paternity pay Day off on your birthday Funded activities for groups of colleagues 5 colleagues or more on a group outing and the company will pay half to this whether it be a meal out or a game of football Life insurance Death in Service Fun/social charity events Long service rewards
