vw transporter t4 888 special, its a 2003 model so one of the last ones made and sought after being a special. If you know t4s you will know how rare electric windows and cruise control is and this has both. I bought is last summer for a holiday trip as we needed 6 seats but change of circumstances means id be better off with a car for my needs. Thats said im in no rush and will not be giving it away so no silly offers. When i bought it it had just been motd and i fully recommissioned it after it was left off the road by previous owner due to him buying a t5.1 but wanting to keep this aswel. As soon as i got it it had the following : cambelt waterpump and full service at local vw specialist, 2 wheel bearings, new starter and alternator, two rear calipers before i had it, side windows, heavy duty rear springs from cmc, wind deflectors, rear lino floor, rear speakers, wires run through ready for split charge but i have left it as it is in the rear so its a blank canvas for who ever has it. Its got genuine 18” Audi alloys and good matching tyres all round. It did the cornwall trip with 6 of us and a frenchie no problem at all and sat at 65-70 on cruise control effortlessly. Its really good on fuel too. Its the best spec and all original t4 iv had and iv had a few, its low milage at 131k too. Also has a full stainless steel exhaust which has a nice sound to it and exits both sides, being 20 years old she does smoke a bit on initial start up but soon clears as soon as driven and t4s hate being sat ticking over too they smoke a little and then clear upon driving, it has two patches of rust which if i was keeping i was going to have done but only surface rust and approx 5cmx5cm at the bottom of rear arch but still solid, i took the vw specialist with me to fetch it and he commented how solid and unmolested the underside was. It has captains drivers seat with armrests i will be taking my stereo out Probably loads iv missed but tried to be as honest as i can thanks for reading. It is a 20 year old panel van thats had a row of seats incase any confusion open to sensible offers
