This is a totally unique VW buggy based on a 1968 Beetle .
Ten years ago this creation was started and completed by me last year.
It has only covered 300 miles so many items are as new.. This mileage will increase as I will be attending car shows and meets this year.
Using the original restored uncut chassis and 1600cc single port rebuilt engine it has the original matching numbers and is registered as a Historic vehicle
It has 17 inch x7J Porsche style SSP Fuch wheels which are 5 stud with Porsche centre caps and 215 x 60x R17 tyres .
All 4 wheels have EMPI disc brakes and SSP adapter plates (from 4 stud to 5 stud).
Chrome springs are fitted with adjustable shocks on all 4 corners giving it a beautiful ride with great ground clearance.
The twin carbs are EMPI 34 EPC fitted with EMPI air filters and intake manifolds.all were bought new when fitted .Polished stainless steel 5 gallon petrol tank is installed.
The excellent engine has a full chrome dress up package, even the generator and starter motor are chromed.
Ceramic coated EMPI Thunderbird Cannon twin exhausts sound perfect.
There is an EMPI steering wheel with centre boss, loads of gauges. 2 sets of twin horns , The original rear seat has been professionaly re-upholstered.
A file of receipts and build details shows just how much has been spent on this vehicle.
