circa late 1930's early 1940's.
** Dimensions: 36\" W x 21\" D x 30.25\" H **
We are delighted to offer this lovely vintage industrial school teachers home office work desk. This desk is British made & stamped Abbess. Small size desk perfect for that limited home office space. Lovely example made of blonde solid oak woods. Original olive green leather top with gilt foil tooled edge decoration. A knee hole desk with single drawer over the center. Dovetail jointed drawer & oak carved cup handle, drawer remains strong runs nice & freely. This vintage es direct from a recent estate sale & is sold in superb as found vintage condition. It's been properly cleaned inside & out, sealed & waxed, so is now ready to use, love & enjoy once more. It's not been over restored so retains all it's vintage charm with minor age related surface scuffs, minor ink marks & dinks all consistent with it's age. It's style & design is typical of it's early mid century period & would date nicely to the late 1930's early 1940's. Overall in excellent display usable solid condition with lots of vintage charm.
It would make a fabulous interior design statement . . .
