Full time, permanent
Working 9 days over a 14 day period, with varying shift patterns as agreed with the Registered Manager.
£9.75 - £11.25 per hour

About the Support Worker role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join us. As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care to individuals who require support in their daily lives, enabling them to maintain their skills and personal interests.
You will work closely with the Team Leaders, Registered Manager, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring Individuals we support are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
Contributing to the efficient running of the home.
Supporting Individuals to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community.
Ensuring Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) and other information about how to support Individuals are followed.
Dispensing medication following CTS policies and procedures.
Informing Shift Leaders / Registered Manager of any changes in the needs of the individuals we support.

Qualifications and skills:
Proficient written skills to maintain all PBSP and records in accordance with Community Therapeutic Services policy.
Leadership skills to provide support/assistance to individuals in their daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom.
Effective communication skills to build rapport with individuals, colleagues, management, and professionals.
Problem-solving skills to adapt and address situations quickly and promote health and well-being.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks that govern the service, including the role of CQC and their requirements.
Commitment to achieving relevant qualifications, such as The Care Certificate.
Willingness to attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the Registered Manager.
