The minimum e required to sponsor someone for a spouse/partner visa will increase in stages:

From the current level to £29,000 on 11 April 2024.
To around £34,500 at an unspecified time later in 2024.
Finally, to around £38,700 “by early 2025”.
British nationals or people already settled in the UK will need to show they earn £38,700 before their overseas partner can live in the UK with them.

Applications can be made for a Spouse/Partner visa if you are married (or co-habiting as an unmarried couple) to a British citizen or a person who has indefinite leave to remain or has settled status.

• You are legally married or in a civil partnership that is recognised by the UK or have been living together for at least 2 years as an unmarried couple
• You have passed an approved English language test

:- How long does it take to get a spouse visa?
A spouse visa allows partners and spouses of British citizens and people settled in the UK to immigrate to the UK. Spouse visa is initially granted for 33 months for applications submitted from overseas and for 30 months for applications submitted in the UK. The processing time is dependant whether the application is made from within the UK or from overseas and on plex your application is.
