All candidates must be in possession of a valid passport and able to travel to Israel, as well as having a checkable right to work in the UK.You will be fully trained in Israel through a 3.5 week course, fully provided by our client that will enable you to be a trained Specialist Aviation Security agentStarting pay through basic training - £11.64 per hour.Pay pletion of training in Israel - £13.16 per hour.You will have the opportunity to promote up to supervisor with training provided which will include higher pay rates as you progress through the ranks starting from £13.67 -rising to £16.20.You will work 37.5 hours per week with an opportunity for overtime.How you will make an impact as a Aviation Cargo Screener:
As a Cargo Screener at Securitas, you are a key part of the Aviation security operation, using x-ray machines, you will be conducting screening and security checks for prohibited items on cargo to be transported, recording and escalating any issues of concern.
Specific duties will include:
Required to perform various tasks such as: operation of x-ray machines, physical inspection of cargo and lifting and carrying freight.Responsible for using x-ray machines to identify dangerous objects in cargo and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.Maintain focus and awareness within an environment containing numerous distractions, people and noise.Work within a demanding environment, which includes noise from alarms, machinery, people, distractions, time critical and the requirement to identify and locate potentially life-threatening devices and devices intended on creating massive destruction.Make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations.Flexible to work various shift lengths dependent on the volume of cargo Aviation | Security Officer | Security Guard | Customs and Excise | Passport Control | Identity Check |
