We're The Makings, a Bristol-based rock / soul / funk originals band.

We're looking for a vocalist who can join us. We're a collective of singers, currently with three vocalists, all with their own individual styles...but one of those vocalists is our sax player who can't always play and sing at the same time, meaning we can't recreate our music on stage, as it sounds on record.
We're looking for a vocalist with a powerful voice to carry stacked harmonies but also come forward for solos and lead where the song calls for it. Any kind of hip hop / rap experience also a bonus!
We rehearse once a week in Bristol on Thursdays (if you couldn't make weekly rehearsals, we're prob not the band for you).
Just something to keep in mind, we're an originals band, so do it for the love not the money. We wont play for free, but it's not an earner in the same way a function band would be (yet!) as all the money we earn from the project goes back into the project for the time-being.
