Our client, a leading car motor group are currently looking for a Service Technician to join their business based out of their Birmingham dealership.As a Service Technician reporting into the Aftersales Manager your main responsibilities will be the ongoing service, repair, diagnose and inspection checks of vehicles. If you have an MOT licence you may be required to carry out MOTs.Working closely with the management team, you will work through your allocated jobs and feedback to the front of house Service Advisor team with any additional works or escalation the customer needs to be made aware of.About the role of Service Technician: Completing major and minor repairs Fault finding and fault diagnosis of vehicles Replacing parts and completing work where required Meeting or exceeding efficiency and productivity targets Light and full service workExperience Required to be a Service Technician Previous experience as a Technician from a main or independent dealership Hold a valid NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance Hold a valid MOT licence (Preferred) Team player Excellent communicator both written and verbal 'Can do' attitude Must hold a valid driving licenceWhat's next?If you're looking for a Service Technician role within a business that promotes positive change and development, then this is the role for you.
