We're looking for an experienced SEO Manager to join our amazing team of digital marketers! This role requires the candidate to live within a commutable distance of Witney, Oxfordshire. This is a pivotal role for the business. You will be responsible for the creation and implementation of SEO strategies for a number of our key clients. You will be directly responsible for achieving results for our existing clients and onboarding new clients. You will work very closely with our SEO Strategist and management team to oversee the implementation of the SEO strategies. This is an exciting time to join us and establish yourself as a key member of the staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day management of SEO campaigns for a range of clients
- Developing optimisation strategies to increase search engine rankings
- Researching SEO keywords to discover and advise on content strategies
- Setting measurable goals to benchmark and showcase improvements in marketing efforts
- Provide reporting and feedback to clients on progress
- Collaboration with other team members to deliver the most effective SEO strategy possible
The right person will have the following skills:
Essential
- Agency or multi-client experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in on-site, off-site, technical and content SEO
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog etc.
- Significant experience with Google Tag Manager
- Strong analytical skills to analyse websites against key competitors to identify opportunities for improvements
- Understanding of how to develop technical improvements to websites and their servers
- Great skills at generating content to optimise SEO; including URLs, keywords, meta tags, internal link structure and external links
- Be able to advise on what content should be created to improve organic performance and reach
- Thorough knowledge of white-hat SEO techniques
- Positive, energetic and a great communicator
- Be able to own the SEO budget and make strategic decisions
- Excellent presentation skills
- Great knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Desirable
- 5+ years of agency or multi-client SEO experience
- GA4 experience
- Experience in generating external links
- Proactive and passionate
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced using Excel and Google Sheets
- The ability to actively learn on new skills
