The role is that of a Senior Probate Case Officer, a dedicated contact within an Estate, to administer around 35 deceased cases under the terms of the Will or Intestacy, in all aspects, including building relationships with beneficiaries, under the supervision of an Estates Manager.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
The administration of around 35 deceased casesHandling day to day case tasks and queries and progressing the cases with all aspects of Estate administration from initial enquiries, applying for the Grant of Probate, to finalisation of the Estate and accounting to the beneficiaries for their entitlementDealing with associated inheritance, income and capital gains taxManage some complex estate aspectsBuilding and maintaining relationships with the beneficiaries through regular contact by post, e-mail and telephone callsComplying with business objectives, client service level standards, process and procedures and managing riskAdministration and some Banking processes (with support) Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
