The Position
In this role, you will support and lead specific areas of works for all types of planning applications for clients, including major and complex applications in growth markets including healthcare, education, energy, water, transport and commercial. You will lead on small and medium sized projects whilst also taking a lead role on specific elements of larger and complex schemes.
The Candidate
Degree level qualification in a Town Planning related field and Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) / working towards chartership.
Experience in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
Experience in contributing to integrated impact assessment and business case preparation would be ideal.
Desirable experience in the planning for and completion of public consultation events as part of the planning process.
Experience in the consenting of major infrastructure projects under the Development Consent Order regime would be a bonus.
Ideally having worked with infrastructure and built environment clients.
Understanding the commercial aspects involved in managing projects.Why should you apply?
